Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach Hotel // The Wedding Video Highlight Reel

Here is a fun preview video for Elizabeth and Michael's wedding! It mostly took place at The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Redondo Beach - it's a wonderful venue. They just finished remodeling their reception ballroom and cocktail hour area. The rooms are great, the pool deck is a wide open spot for taking pictures, and they are right across the street from a beach and marina - great for photos! We loved shooting there - if you want to learn more you can contact Sheree DeWeese, who is the Catering Sales Manager.

Kristy and Bar // Hotel Redbury + Ramsey's at the Club, Hollywood and Toluca Lake, CA

Kristy and Bar are an amazing couple, full of life and love! They connect together with everything, finish each other's sentences and are thrilled just carrying on conversations with each other! They are best friends and truly a perfect example of what it means to be in love.

The day was planned by one of our favorite planners, Mary from Occasions- check out the room decorations- gorgeous! The night was kept jumping by another one of our favorites- Val from VIP DJ, she knows how to get the party started and keep it going!

The Rabbi was now one of our new favorites- Rabbi Ian. Of course, for one he's British- so that makes him an instant hit in my book! However, his ability to make everyone feel like they belong stands out. He is a fun jokester while at the same time keeping a pretty epic message. His insight and words also made for a great voice over, so that too was fun.

The ceremony and reception took place at Ramsey's at the Club in Toluca Lake.

All in all this was an amazing event and the highlight we made makes me want to see more of these two kindred spirits! It's a good thing they got a full length video - there is so much more fun to be had and we enjoyed making them their "feature length film" as Bar put it! Congrats you two- we had a blast and wish you much love forever and ever!

Karelyn & Robby // 7.12.2012 Wedding Highlight // FantaSea Yachts, Marina del Rey

Karelyn and Robby are an amazing duo. They are a hands-on type of couple that loves each other, and life. Their wedding began at the Marina del Rey Marriott, and then the ceremony and reception took place at one of our favorite venues,FantaSea Yachts! We love doing weddings in our backyard!

The story of these two love birds is a good one, and it’s heightened by the fact that years ago we DJ’d one of Karelyn’s birthday parties- which is pretty fantastic, since we were about 12 at the time! Her mom was our middle school counselor and had hired us for the party- oh how we love events then and now!!!

I think we can all agree, however, that this event was way better! We are more into capturing the love and life of the party these days, instead of creating the party! The funny part is, Karelyn liked our film company before she even knew who we were- what a small world! Karelyn and Robby, we wish you two so much love and happiness for now and your future- we will be watching you two! Congrats once more!!!

Judie and BJ / Biltmore and Majestic Halls Wedding / 5.5.12

This wedding was a stellar, fantastic revisit to the days of the Hollywood Golden Age. It is the stuff that Sunset Blvd. was based on – thankfully for Judie and BJ, the ending is happily ever after, riding off into the sunset.

Their wedding began at the vintage 1923 Millennium Biltmore Hotel. Judie had everything planned, from the dress hangers to her dolls’ red tank tops. BJ’s boys, on the other hand, had a different approach in t-shirt style, as you’ll see in the film.

We were joined by the impeccable team of photographers at Callaway Gable, who once being fashion models themselves, knew all the glam poses and are a killer husband and wife team!

Of course orchestrating this entire vintage bash was wedding coordinator Alex Rembac from Sterling Engagements. In keeping with the style, the gorgeous Majestic Halls was the backdrop for the ceremony and reception, which was built in 1921.

Judie and BJ are a remarkable couple, as you will seen in the film. BJ is a sweet southern boy who met up with a hip Los Angeles fashionista. Judie’s dress was in one word – amazing and BJ’s suit looked right out of the cast from Gone with the Wind. In the end it was fab fabulous and an amazing night!
