Melissa and Christian // Grand Cayman Destination Wedding // 3.4.15

“And now by the virtue of the authority invested in me, and by the laws of the Cayman Islands, I now pronounce you husband and wife!” This was entirely epic!

We set off with Melissa, Chris and their families for a week long wedding adventure! They had their reception on a Carnival Cruise and the ceremony on Grand Cayman - and we were there to capture the love and life that transpired. We began at LAX and then set off to Fort Lauderdale, Florida- where we met our ship the Carnival Conquest. It was perfect, because along with their immediate families, 75 other close friends and relatives came along for the ride. This meant that the ship was more like the Mezzanatto/Jimenez wedding extravaganza ship- everywhere the family gathered to celebrate Chris and Melissa’s love!

In the end, it was to be one of the best weeks of their lives and ours! On the island we were joined by pastor Oral Mclaughlin, who did a fabulous job officiating the wedding! We worked with a Carnival photographer on the ship and Janet Jarchow on the island, whose shots were gorgeous- but then with the backdrop of Grand Cayman and the bright turquoise water you can’t go wrong! In Melissa’s words, we captured “the greatest love story ever told, their love story.”  Congrats once more Melissa and Chris!!! You guys rock!

Photos from Venice, Italy

When we were in Venice for a wedding, we had a great time walking around the streets of that amazing city! We finally processed a few of the photos and wanted to share them with you! If you are having a wedding in Venice and need a videographer, just contact us. The flight is pretty quick, and the water taxi from the airport to Venice is so easy :-)

A really nice HDR picture from the Dorsoduro area of Venice.

We really liked the smaller canals in the Cannaregio area. Just a few streets over from the main drag and vaporetto stops are hidden churches and people having dinner on their boats!

We were so happy to see that there is still room for backyards with gardens in the dense buildings on the islands.

Love the lighting in Venice. It glows everywhere.
