Aaron and Malinda had a glorious wedding day! They are so perfect for each other and so in love, we were amazed every second we were with them and their families. We started at the Palomar Hotel on Wilshire, headed to a great park in Beverly Hills and over to the Sinai Temple on Wilshire.
The ceremony had a great surprise – a wall that rises to reveal Malinda as she started down the aisle. Of course we love white dance floors, those are classy – so we loved the reception!
Thanks to one of the greatest photographers, Samuel Lippke for doing a killer job photographing the wedding!
Chi and Mike had a perfect wedding – and a long one! We started at home with a Tea Ceremony, followed by a quick trip to the Nixon Library for the ceremony and reception. This was the same day edit shown during cocktail hour of highlights from the morning’s Tea Ceremony and lunch! More highlights to come!
It is amazing how many of our couples have had children in the last year or are expecting! The list just keeps on growing as their families are expanding! It’s great to take full advantage of your marriage Just yesterday we got an email from one of our favorite couples who got married March 3, 2007 – they had their first child and are working on the nursery.
One of our most exiting babies is Konstandinos, who was baptized just 1 year after his parents’ wedding! Check this out:
Here was the wedding video, May 11, 2008:
Here was their son’s baptism video, May 17, 2009:
Genevieve and Daniel are two special people. They got married at Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach. We love Genevieve, as you will see in this highlight reel – her smiles and poses are right out of Vouge! Then with Daniel, he easily could be on the cover of GQ. They both worked for UPS and met each other there. Obviously, taking the phrase “What can brown do for you?”, it certainly did something for them!
Lovable Vendors:
Xuong (Song) www.happyphotos.com, from Happy Photos did an amazing job as always! He’s always getting great shots and on last Saturday, it was no different!
This was a fabulous wedding! We got the privilege of working with Bettyann and Fred! They truly are an amazing couple. We had filmed Bettyann’s son Ajay’s wedding a few years back. Some of you may remember Ajay and Christine. It was exciting to see them again, since they are expecting their firstborn, a girl, in September! Needless to say everyone in this family is blessed and there was so much love – it was awesome. Pelican Hill in Newport Coast was pretty great as well.
Lovable Vendors:
Gail Garceau (ggweddings.com), the coordinator and she did a fabulous job – we can’t say enough good things about her!
Doug Gifford (www.douggiffordphoto.com), the photographer. Not only did he get great shots of Bettyann and Fred, but he’s photographed Roy Disney’s Boat- which we thought was an interesting side note!
James Loram of Last Dance (www.lastdance.net). As always a great DJ is key to the success of any party and James didn’t disappoint!
Kelsey had an absolutely fabulous time filming Selly and Joon’s wedding on April 11, 2010. It took place in one of our favorite locations- theWest Lake Village Inn! We just keep coming back! This day was extra special because we got to work with Caroline Tran Photography, Caroline and her husband. We love her work, it’s whimsical, passionate and she is just killer kewl to work with!
We also loved this crowd since they hailed from UCLA! We are Cal State Long Beach alums, but UCLA was our second choice- since it’s a fab school too! We learned an interesting new adaptation of a cheer that mocks their rival, who shall remain nameless, but let’s just say we like the new take on the cheer! Selly and Joon are a perfect match, they are so outgoing it’s contagious! But, most importantly they are strong determined individuals who are madly in love. We have great hopes for their marriage and future life together- I can’t stop seeing them smile. Congrats once more you two!
